The Jamming Kid
Jamkid is a dancehall-fusion and afrobeat artist from Rågsved in Sweden with roots from The Gambia. He is known for his vital live performances and extravagant style in clothing.
He started his career in Rågsved alongside the collective All Green and later, in about 2017, pursued a strong solo career and has since then gained respect and following. His name stands for “The jamming kid”, a nickname he came up with when he was a kid listening to Bob Marley and other reggae and dancehall artists.
